One of the few left in the country. A great piece of history and a great restoration project. 1956 Lyman 15 Outboard/Runabout 40998
Hull hand stripped and refinished. All mahogany and interior surfaces refinished. Sterling twin-tilt trailer with new tires and wheel bearings, ready to roll down the road. Original chrome is slightly pitted but in reasonably good shape. Hull had a rotted spot about 3" in diameter at the base of the transom, professionally repaired with epoxy material. Comes with 1965 33hp Evinrude outboard motor that was purchased several years ago but never used so I cannot vouch for its performance. Accessories include hook, paddle, bumpers, battery box (but no battery), extra props, and Lyman sand tan paint for removable floor panels. We love Sapphire our 1963 21ft Lyman Runabout. However, we are looking to get into something a little bigger. Powered by the original 178hp Gray Marine Fireball, she runs smooth and during boating season we are out weekly on her in Lake Union and Portage Bay. We had her tuned at the beginning of the 2011 boating season replacing the spark plugs, drive belt, several hoses and the impellor. In 2010 we replaced the alternator and voltage regulator. Currently Sapphire is dry docked under cover in Mt Vernon. Sapphire needs a little TLC. . . mainly varnishing. 1936 Lyman 23 751
An opportunity to own a very rare historic Lyman, one of two 23-1/2 footers built in 1936. Boat was delivered on Lake George in June 1936 and was there until 2002, then moved to NH for a total professional preservation in 2003. New 270hp Crusader V8, green leather interior and beautiful rechromed original hardware. The ALL Mahogany boat is 95% original and has the No. 751 hull number stamped on almost every part, including the original perfect gunwale molding. 1956 Lyman 18 Islander A-3396
This is a 100% original Lyman Islander, with a 4-60 Gray Marine engine. I bought this from an estate in Ohio in 2005. Boat has been stored inside ever since owner passed in 2002. The boat was tucked away in a metal building after his death, and the annual summer heat really peeled the varnish off the decks. Chrome is in decent shape with no major pitting. Motor turns over, but I have never run the boat. Owners son stated motor had been gone through by marina in 2001. Engine was properly winterized by marina. Please e-mai for more photos and details. 1970 Lyman 23 Offshore T-1026
23ft 1970 Offshore, Cuddy Cabin. The boat structurally is in very good condition and all the electronics (depth finder, anchor, lights, and bilge pumps) are working well. The issue is the Crusader (V-8 210HP) engine block is cracked. The engine will need to be rebuilt or replaced. This boat is a classic and less than 200 were made of this particular model (Offshore) in 1970. If the engine was working the boat would sell over $10K. 1972 Lyman 24 Fiberglass/Biscayne
1972 fiberglass Lyman Biscayne. All the upholstery has been restored with new and I have added two new helm/captain chairs. All original teak trim is still on the boat and in great condition, including the bow trim, cockpit & inside trim, step pads, & swim platform. The trim has been re-oiled and looks great. The boat has a cuddy with porta-pot. The boat is equipped with a Crusader 220hp with a Rochester 4 Barrel and is a strong runner. Boat is currently used for a day/picnic boat with no issues.
