1939 Lyman 15 Cat Rigged Sailboat 9736
One of the few left in the country. A great piece of history and a great restoration project. This lapstraked and clinker-built boat has the original Philippine mahogany 26ft spar, boom, rudder, and trim. All original components, centerboard is 3/16 galvanized steel, hardware is all brass. 1958, 16 1/2ft Lyman for sale with a 1956 30hp Electric Start Johnson. Boat is equipped with; depth finder, cd stereo with 4 speakers, airguide speedometer, compass with light, working lights, working horn, under dash light, bilge pump, two gas tanks, cushions for the front seat, and a bench cushion for the back seat. 1967 Lyman 19 I/O Runabout PO-1114
Production of the new style 19ft Runabout series generated 151 hulls from 1965 through 1969. The series included 90 inboards and 61 inboard/outboards which this boat is. A recent survey found significant evidence of this boat having been well taken care of over the years. Frames and stringers appear to be sound and the mahogany plywood deck, rub rails, inrails and transom are solid and finished bright. Overall the vessel was found to be structurally sound and in above average condition with an attractive fit and finish. The 120hp Mercruiser engine and the outdrive are still in production and parts are readily available. Since I have owned the little Lyman named \"Seldom Seen\" I have had all the bright work professionally redone with Bristol Finish which should last at least 10 years. The floor covering is new White grain Nautolex. All mechanicals and systems have been checked and brought up to proper standards. The bottom on this boat was chaulked with 3M 5200 sealant which can still be seen in the boat. Lymans with this sealant have not traditionally needed any bottom refastening. The trailer is listed seperately. This boat is an exceptionally useful and beautiful boat. It turns heads and creates a ton of radio chatter wherever it goes. The way it is built and finished, it is no more trouble than a fiberglass boat and is very much more seaworthy. I can provide a copy on an extensive survey done when I bought the boat late in 2005. The hull was tested for soundness by Doc Lyman when I first bought it 7 years ago and it has been stored under roof since. When I bought it it had been in storage for 12 years previous. 1961 Lyman 18 Outboard/Runabout
It is a show stopper! This is exactly what our 1961 18ft Lyman is with the newly tuned 1961 twin 40hp Lark Evinrudes. This boat has new red canvas and cushions plus two 1961 refinished folding wooden boat chairs with red matching backs and seats � eye-stopping! Our boat, with its nearly 7ft beam and built in 25gal stainless gas tank has a whole lot of people space, hence the antique deck chairs. Everything on the boat is new or in excellent condition: new windshield, new transom, new decks. Sandstone colored Nautolex covers all floor boards for non-skid and easy cleaning. All seats are new solid mahogany with many coats of varnish. All chrome is either new or has been re-chromed. A new single cable steering system has been installed, a Teleflex no feedback system. The motors also have new starters for easy touch starting. The original launching trailer has been re-wired and painted red to match the color of the canvas, and tows great. 1936 Lyman 23 751
An opportunity to own a very rare historic Lyman, one of two 23-1/2 footers built in 1936. Boat was delivered on Lake George in June 1936 and was there until 2002, then moved to NH for a total professional preservation in 2003. New 270hp Crusader V8, green leather interior and beautiful rechromed original hardware. The ALL Mahogany boat is 95% original and has the No. 751 hull number stamped on almost every part, including the original perfect gunwale molding. Original matching number Gray straight 8 included with sale. This boat was pictured in Classic Boating Magazine and featured in the book Lyman Boats: Legend of the Lakes.
